Ling Zhang, RN, BSN, CSN-NJ ~ Branchburg Central Middle School Nurse has been practicing nursing since 2005. She graduated from the China Medical University, finishing her first year residency in China. She received her Registered Nurse license from Excelsior College’s accelerated nursing program in NY.  She worked on a medical/surgical unit at Hunterdon Medical Center for 6 years.  She also worked as an associate scientist for Admera Health, a pharmacogenomics company for 4 years.  In December 2020 Ling graduated from Kean University with her NJ School Nurse Certification. Ling was awarded the 2021-2022 Governor's Educational Services Professional of the Year Award.


Janet Hoffman, RN, BSN, MEd, CSN-NJ ~ Stony Brook School Nurse has been practicing school nursing in Branchburg since 2002. She began her tenure in Branchburg working between Whiton and Central (5 years), thereafter she was the BCMS school nurse (4 years) and the WES school nurse (7 years).  Previous to working in Branchburg, she worked as the school nurse at Van Holten School in Bridgewater.

Janet graduated from Widener University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing. She attended the NJ School Nurse Certification Program at Caldwell College receiving her School Nurse Certification. She holds a Health Teaching Endorsement from Caldwell College and a Master of Science degree in Education with a Curriculum, Instruction and Assessment Specialization from Walden University.  Nurse Hoffman was awarded the 2015-2016 Governor’s Educational Services Professional of the Year Award.

Her past nursing experiences include working at Morristown Medical Center for over 20 years in various areas of the hospital: a surgical unit; the adolescent clinic; the neonatal intensive care unit; and the maternal-child unit. She also worked per-diem on a surgical unit at Hunterdon Medical Center for 8 years, while working as a school nurse.
